Bleeding Your radiators

If your system is noisy or your radiators are cold at the top, you may need to bleed them.
Bleeding them is quite simple, you will need a bleed key in most cases.
You will find a bleed point at the end or on the back of your radiator, once you have found it you can put the bleed key in and turn the key anticlockwise, you will hear the air escaping, once the air is out water will then come out the vent.
We would recommend having a cloth to capture any water that comes out, once water comes out you can now shut the vent.
if you have a sealed system you will probably need to refill the system, find out how here.
Now if your Radiators are cold or tepid at the bottom this could indicate that there is muck and debris in your system.
if this is the case then you will need to clean and protect your heating system.
